A portable generator and pumps are used to de-water the creek channel in the construction zone.
A "coffer dam" is constructed from sand bags and plastic sheeting as part of the de-watering system.
The old pedestrian footbridge is brought down first. The new bridge
will allow pedestrian crossing.
