Archive: Before construction, the concrete stream crossing ("Arizona crossing") presents a barrier to fish migration.
A geotechnical investigation was performed to determine soil properties.
 
An excavator lifts a large and drops a large boulder to break apart the concrete slab.
Concrete fragments and extra soil are removed from the stream crossing.
 
Soil materials are hauled out of the crossing and mechanically sorted.
