The wood frame is stripped from the first bridge abutmet and soil is backfilled to
prepare the road base.

Wood and metal framing continues at the second bridge abutment.

Restoration of the creek channel begins.  First, the channel is graded to a stable slope.

Filter fabric is installed along the abutment slopes and large rock is placed
on top to protect the bridge foundation.

  

Forming     Forming

Rock and soil are formed around the bridge foundations in the creek channel.
